Far East National Bank Raises $36,000 at An Evening with Star Chefs Gala to Benefit Rosemary Children’s Services

Los Angeles, CA – July 11, 2008 -- Far East National Bank (“FENB”) announced today that they raised $36,000 for the 45th annual “An Evening with Star Chefs” Gala in support of Rosemary Children’s Services (“RCS”). Contributions came from the bank, bank employees, and the bank’s customers. The event overall raised a record-breaking $100,000 to benefit The Rosemary School, the agency’s non-public school for at risk teenage girls.

As a gold corporate sponsor of the gala for the past 2 years, FENB is dedicated to the mission of RCS and recognizes the tremendous impact of the agency’s programs in Southern California. When the bank encouraged its clients to become supporters of RCS, they rose to the challenge.  “They see that RCS has a positive record of giving disadvantaged children an educational experience that will be the key their future. Our clients know that educational success equals an immediate positive impact on our communities and on the next generation,” said Karen Drew, First VP at Far East National Bank and President of the RCS Board of Directors.

Rosemary Children’s Services is also a participating organization in Far East National Bank’s Non-Profit Donation Program, an innovative program that allows RCS members, supporters, and friends to raise money for RCS by opening or maintaining accounts with the bank.
