Far East National Bank Raises Over $13,800 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Annual Light the Night Walk

Los Angeles, CA – September 24, 2008 -- Far East National Bank (“FENB”) announced today that they raised over $13,800 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (“LLS”) through its annual Light the Night Walk.

As a local sponsor in the Greater Los Angeles area, the Far East National Bank team joined 1,500 other attendees at the Light the Night Walk on the UCLA campus on September 14, 2008. The event was also a celebration for employees to gather their friends and families together for the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival.  FENB was the 4th largest fundraiser out of 89 teams that took part in the event, well exceeding its initial goal of $10,000.

Employees participated in personal fundraising efforts and rallied behind several companywide events to help raise money for the cause. FENB also received tremendous support from its customers and vendors through cash donations and contributions to an auction held to benefit LLS. Generous supporters included Tarsadia Hotels, Gilmore Associates, Creative Marketing Concepts, CDW, Motobravo, Kee Wah Bakery, Panda Restaurant Group, Metavante, and Staples.
