Represent the Bank in troubled asset restructuring and loan workouts. This attorney will work within the Credit Division and work closely with Special Assets Officers on commercial loan workouts and restructuring, loan amendments, bankruptcy and commercial loan collection recovery.

• Provide initial assessments, recommendations regarding legal strategies, expense forecasting, case tracking, and monitoring outside counsel for case progress, budgeting, and performance
• Handle routine real estate collection matters internally
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Must have a Juris Doctorate law degree with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in
  a law firm or financial institution
• Litigation experience representing creditors is important; courtroom experience is preferred
• Must have a California Bar Membership
• Experience in various types of loan documentation, litigation, bankruptcy proceedings and preparations, and loan workouts
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships internally and externally
• Strong time management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
