Lead, manage and direct all assigned credit activities, loan portfolios, and Portfolio Managers. Oversees underwriting, compliance, loan documentation, pre-funding, maintenance of loan quality and training. Provides day to day leadership to ensure an adequate and responsive credit support to the assigned business unit.

• Supervision of assigned portfolio managers and loan documentation specialists on the underwriting quality, process efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide the leadership to Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers in loan structuring, documentation and maintenance.
• Review the accuracy of loan documentation and the efficiency of loan closing.
• Provide and coordinate credit and other trainings for assigned Portfolio Managers and loan documentation specialists.
• Work with Department Manager to ensure that all assigned Portfolios are in compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
  
• Participate in management projects as needed and assist in achieving the company’s goals and objectives.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or related discipline
• Minimum of 7 years in previous commercial lending experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.
• Ability to independently resolve complex credit issues and analyze credit risks.
• Excellent knowledge of bank policies and procedures, rules and regulations.
• Excellent motivator with effective organizational, problem-solving, negotiation & follow-up skills.
• Excellent underwriting skills in commercial lending
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
