As part of the branch sales team, actively engage in the sales process of the branch to ensure the attainment of assigned goals and objectives. This position is responsible for cross-selling and business development activities to increase bank profitability. Develop new clients through referrals and calling efforts. Manage a portfolio of high balance customers and actively deepens client relationships through developing solutions and maximizing the cross-sell opportunities of all bank products. Help the Branch Manager in developing a business plan for the branch and achieve/exceed given objectives while maintaining a working knowledge of staff management, operations, sales, and bank products and services.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Supervision

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high balance customers and actively deepen client relationships through developing solutions and maximizing the cross-sell opportunities of all bank products and services.
  
  
• Contribute to branch and corporate goals by personally generating new clients, increasing sales of deposits, loans and other bank products and services. Identify, contact, and track and generate sales from prospective business clients.
  
  
• Recommend strategies for constant improvement and achievement of sustained, excellent sales results.
  
  
• Support the Branch Manager in supervising and training staff in all sales activities, including equitable distribution of potential sales opportunity and provide assistance when necessary.

Service Excellence

• Ensure delivery of high quality customer service in all aspects at all times and respond timely and appropriately to customer inquiries and complaints. Conduct a follow up to ensure satisfactory response and resolution.
  
  
• Observe, communicate and provide feedback to staff for Operational Efficiency.
  
  
• Work closely with the branch management in scheduling sales staff to adequately cover the branch in efficient delivery of superior service and efficient branch sales operation.
  
  
• Follow the standard operating procedures including dual custody requirements; provide support and training in new accounts and all pertinent sales operational procedures.
  
  
• Analyze, review and make appropriate operational decisions within authority on transactions, such as check cashing/ deposits, withdrawals, immediate credit, waiving of service charges, etc. Perform all applicable operational related functions when necessary.
  
  
• Comply with all bank rules, policies, and procedures and all banking laws and regulations including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, Community Reinvestment Act, OFAC Regulations and Fair Lending and all applicable bank and government regulations.

KNOWLEDGE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related discipline in a related field with a minimum five years of previous banking experience. Strong business development, persuasiveness, and client relationship - building skills Ability to create and conduct presentations and prepare final proposals for qualified prospects. Accomplished selling skills and techniques; working knowledge of consumer lending, small business loans, and effective management of a portfolio of clients. Comprehensive knowledge of bank products and services. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
