Access to $50 million in FDIC insurance
Far East National Bank is a member of the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service, or CDARS, which provides depositors with access to complete FDIC insurance on CD investments of up to $50 million.
What is CDARS?
We are a member of a special network. When you place a large amount with us, we place your funds into CDs issued by other banks in the same network, in increments of less than $100,000 so that both the principal and interest are eligible for FDIC protection. As a result, you can receive coverage from many banks while working with just one. Built and rigorously tested by seasoned banking professionals and experienced technology architects, CDARS is a proven system that serves the needs of companies, public funds organizations, individuals and non-profits across the United States.
How does CDARS work?
One Bank. One Rate. One Statement. It’s that easy!

The agreement contains important information and conditions regarding the placement of funds by Far East National Bank. Please read the agreement carefully before signing it. CDARS and Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service are registered service marks of Promontory Interfinancial Network, LLC.
